Here come the Resort Collections. I usually associate them with Cruise collections, summery, light, colourful, basically made for those lucky enough to be able to sneak away during the winter to a paradisiac location where the sun always shines and the temperature doesn't go lower than 20ºC... However, DKNY collection surprised me positively. It starts off dark and broody, even a little bit goth with monochromatic looks combining different textures: lace, transparences, leather, knitwear... And then comes the colour, bright and unapologetic, in the form of fuchsia, electric blue, silver and gold. Perfect collection for those girls staying in NYC instead of jetting off to St. Barths.
